Thanks for your comments and suggestions! There were a couple of decent possible camp spots near the confluence but they were all taken.

I would like to run the San Miguel sometime. We drove up along it a ways on the way back. The big canyon on the Dolores just past the confluence with the San Miguel, way below the road, looks very cool. We don't have duckies, just the catarafts, but they're pretty low...dunno if they'd be low enough, though.

This is looking like it's going to be a low-water year all around, though.
