Hee, you can't really make it out in that last picture, but at the very end of the redwall that looms above everything, there is a detached pillar, leaning slightly, which looks remarkably penis-like. When I caught sight of it as Kara and I ran, I recognized it as our goal above the Fort Bottom trail, because on a previous trip we'd noted it (and its distinctive shape!) and made the obligatory penis jokes.

(And I duly pointed it out to Kara, saying, "Look! Penis Rock!" which made her crack up and swear that she'd never be able to look at it again without thinking of penises...I felt like I'd accomplished something positive!)

I was in the Negev ages ago *is old* and only remember it vaguely. And that was before I moved to the western US, so no comparisons in my mind, really. I'll have to dig out my old photos!
