Hah, thank you! The first time I did it it Harpoon was a sponsor, and so they had Harpoon at the finish line party. This year Sierra Nevada sponsored, and while I don't dislike their beer, the options were an IPA (which I dislike) and "Sierraveza" which is a pseudo-Corona, very light and also not to my taste.

Logan was made even more nightmarish for us by the van rental company saying that one of the vans we had reserved had been recalled and so we couldn't get a second van. After a very long fight with the rental company (I wasn't there as I had gone with the guy who had the van we DID get to pick up a few more people and head to New Hampshire) and a fraught text discussion among those of us who were supposed to use that van (which included me) about whether we could manage with something like a Suburban instead, we finally got the damn van!
