There was a salon in my neighborhood in Oakland (which kind of fell on the line between the "extended-Berkeley" part of North Oakland and Downtown Oakland, one of the capitols of Black America) called "Hair Today, Hair Tomorrow." I felt it captured a pleasing spirit of futility and despair.
Also, nice work, as always. I feel like I've never reflected properly on the 70s and hair, as a coda to, say, "HAIR," or "I almost cut my hair today." Next up, "Shampoo."
