Ilanarama!

Yeah, that's really true, and although some counties heavily lean one way or the other, La Plata, where I live, is very closely 1/3 Dem, 1/3 GOP, 1/3 unaffiliated, so we are kind of a bellwether battleground. And what's interesting (to me) is the very western flavor of the conservatism and liberalism which is really distinct from that on the east coast where I grew up. Although right now the fuss is all about the primary, which is a lot more interesting (to me) on the Republican side, but I'm a Democrat and so all I get asked about in polls is the splitting-hairs distinction between our two US Senate candidates.
