Oh yeah, those injury layoffs are the worst -- but they make the comeback all the more thrilling! I didn't have nearly as exciting a comeback as you (I managed a one-minute half mary PR), but I'm so, so, so happy to see my fitness coming back stronger after taking a year to get over PF.

I don't really have any goals for NYC other than a) enjoy the hell out of it and b) don't end up injured. I just don't have the base right now to crank up the training miles and try for a PR, and if I'm not going to PR, I don't want to "race" it and risk injury, know what I mean?
