Exactly - the southernmost point of Sweden is well north of the northernmost point in Colorado! (I just looked it up, and Wikipedia tells me that Kebnekaise is actually just under 2097 meters, so my house at 2004 is not quite so high, darn, I guess I lied.) And we are fairly far south in Colorado at 37°16'24". There are some permanent snowfields in the high mountains, but we don't have glaciers. (We did in the last ice age, which came down exactly as far south as to create the valley where I live, but no longer.)
