I was driving back from Moab through Dove Creek (which claims to be the "Pinto Bean Capital of the World") and noticed a sign at one of the gas stations:

ATM - PINTO BEANS
   24 HOUR GAS

cahotage, I don't suppose you could swing by there sometime and take a picture? I think I giggled all the way to Cahone.

Stranger here via network -- amazing! Reminds me a gas station sign in Fairfield County, Ohio, that's now sadly defunct: Diesel Fried Chicken. Delicious!

Hey, my parents were just in Moab on a National Parks of Utah vacation!!

I think EVERYONE in the universe was just in Moab. I couldn't believe how crowded it was. Road bike tours, mountain bike tours, hikers - plus the ~2000 runners in the race I was doing. Crazy! But the weather was fabulous so I hope they had a good time. I love Arches and Canyonlands, glorious places.

They LOVED Arches. They liked all the parks they saw - Zion, Bryce, Canyonlands, Escalante(?), but they LOVED Arches.
