capping off the year

ilanaramaHi! I'm not dead, really! I've just been busy with other things (and other usernames la la la) and haven't really had anything to say. I've slowly been building my running back up to a minimal (for me) level - hit 40mpw a couple weeks ago, but was too hungover to run this past Sunday in a snowstorm and barely made it to 31. No real racing plans other than a 5K next month; I'd like to find an April or May half, though.
I feel like such a slacker! But I was reminded of what I can do - what I can be, if I get my butt moving - at my running club's winter party:
It was gratifying (and a little embarrassing) to hear Marjorie, the club president, read out a list of my race placements during the past year. Yeah, I had a really great 2012! And now I am revved up to win some hardware in 2013!
