ilanaramaThis morning when I got out of bed (7:30ish) the temperature inside the house was 56 degrees.
We are awaiting the arrival of our new furnace but I bet it will take weeks to get all the piping run (we're doing radiant floor heating) and get that baby hooked up.
Waaah! I'm cold!
Oh, and in honor of Talk Like A Pirate Day I'm using my high seas icon. I bet it never gets down to 56 degrees in the Bay Islands of Honduras.

I hear a lot of good stuff about radiant floor heating. I hope it gets all hooked up before the weather turns with a vengeance. In the meantime, I'd still trade you- it's 90 here today and the two pairs of shorts that survived That Unfortunate Bleach Accident have sprouted holes and unsightly frayed hems. So blow a little of that 56 degrees our way, so I can dig out the jeans, for pete's sake!
