winter's almost here

I added a blanket to my bed last night and turned on the heated mattress pad. Mmm, cozy.

Woo woo! The fall is my favorite time of year.

Unfortunately, we're having our first summer heat wave here
today ... I think I'll blow off work and head for the beach!

Also, I'm extremely happy today, because I just found out that
one of my favorite beer parties is "on" again for this year
(after a one year hiatus): it is a combined
party of homebrews and mushroom foragers: so it combines
great beer and great food.
