Hang out in Auckland with Ann and Doug
Visit
justjenine and Nat
Tue Dec 16 - Doug and Ann leave and we have their apartment and car
Waitomo caves, Tongariro Circuit hiking, Coromandel, Cape Reinga, Rotorua, etc.
Tue Jan 6 - fly Auckland to Wellington
Stay with
trickofthedark and
meesto; visit Te Papa, wildlife sanctuary,
china_shop etc.
Sat Jan 10 - ferry from Wellington to Picton
Sun Jan 11 - Wed 14 - Queen Charlotte Track
sea kayaking? Abel Tasman area?
Sun Jan 18 - Thu 22 - Heaphy Track
Mt. Cook NP, Arthur's Pass area, etc.
Thu Feb 5 - Mon 9 - Caples/Routeburn Track
Fri Feb 13 - Mon 16 - Kepler Track
Fri Feb 20 - Mon 23 - Dusky Track ?
Dunedin?
Christchurch
Fri Feb 27 - fly Christchurch to Auckland
Back to Ann and Doug's
Sat Feb 28 - fly home, arrive in evening.

Forget bottled Fiji Water. If you travel to New Zealand, to Te Waikoropuru Springs on the South Island, to be precise, you'll find the largest freshwater springs in the southern hemisphere, possibly the world.
