ilanaramaI obviously caught the computer-destructo-virus from the nh goddesses the other night. Today my disk crashed bigtime. Fortunately it gave me enough warning that I was able to back up all my writing stuff and about 80% of the rest. Now the laptop won't even boot up. It's about 6 years old and falling apart as it is, so RIP.
Then I tried to use our other laptop. It's only 5 years old but has been falling apart even worse. It's been working fine as a test platform for Britt's web development, but he's only using the mouse; when I turned it on, I discovered that the keyboard was possessed by demons. (Various exorcism methods all failed.)
Fortunately, my NEW COMPUTER should be arriving tomorrow. Although I'm a bit nervous about touching it. In fact, I probably shouldn't be doing this on Britt's compxcfd45%%# NO CARRIER
