the snows of september

Yup, snow. We went hiking (again with Rolf, although his wife decided not to come today) up Rolling Mountain, a rather misnamed (IMHO) 13,693 ft peak west of Silverton, and we got snowed on! Woo!

I am sadly behind in making a web page for last weekend's excellent adventure climbing the semi-technical Arrow Peak (13,808 ft) but you can see some advance pictures here:

I really will get around to making nifty web pages like I did for our Castilleja Lakes backpack, but, um, yeah. Soon.

PS to stalkme -- how did you find this journal? I don't mind you reading it, I'm just curious. (I'd rather the great run of people-in-general not go the other way round, if you take my meaning, but you and anybody else who knows my other persona are welcome to read these blatherings.)

Woo! Welcome. And, if you check the more recent entries, I did make a big elaborate web page about our climb of Arrow with lots and lots and lots of self-indulgent photos. Now I need to finish putting together the better Rolling Mt. photos.
